MAX R 100- MY OLD JUNK !

October of 1998,i don't remember the date , but my dad did one thing he wanted to, he bought a new TVS-SUZUKI Max R 100, costing approx 41000 Rs, in
installments Which he rather paid for the next two years. A black color, not so beautiful bike was the matter of talk in our neighborhood. Only few
families had bike at that time. And this respective model from TVS_SUZUKI was a road leader those days, every third bike on road was Max R 100 or Max100.
Specially built for plane road along with the rough muddy stony and worse roads of India. Being an owner of that beauty was a matter joy and happiness
for us. Time passed on , it ran for more then one lakh kms on road and still working, the last reading i noted was 67893 kms, approx 4 years ago. This
piece of iron was my dad's third son, and i salute it, it was with us on crises, on happiness, on events, from home to long distance drives, villages,
in days and nights, every time. Sticked with my dad like his lucky charm, from being a poor, to a middle class gentleman, father of two son and a
successful man. This one tone lode of iron was nothing but a graceful addition to our family, all the stuff were too hearty.

I was 10 at that time and its been 12 years, not even once the engine was opened, shock ups are still tight, good working condition, single handed always...
But it got old, and lost his performance to a great deal.Time was there to change it, give it a retirement, it deserves it, no matter what services it gave
us, but things must stop some day, that's how every thing goes on. So today 05 nov 2010, DIwali Day, we exchanged it with new TVS Star City. I can clearly
understand the attachment of my dad with this vehical and its obvious too, but he had to let it go. Me and dad went to get the newest member to my family,
it costed 2000 more then its predecessor, it looks fine with an eligent look. We booked it, got the exchange offer made, had the billing, and got it, and
even when my dad took a last look at his son, he was overwhelmed, and was not in amy mood to leave it, but our financial condition can not afford to keep
two bye, specially when the old, dearest one is a fuel drinker. I actually kept my nerves very calm ,and reacted a little while leaving that old brother
on that shop. Even i was moved when i saw it for the last time, but time was there to switch the wheels to the next byke, and i drove the new member back
to home.
The most special thing was that it ended for that byke where it started for it, 12 years ago... the same shop, the same part of the year. It was a
complete journey for that piece of iron, how beautiful was it, like wise it happens with us humans, and animals too, every thing has this fate, that is
exact. And the most amezing thing that can happen is to end it from your origin, from where we started.... I kept it unsaid, but i will miss that old junk..
" its not how you started , but its important how you ended, and not cost, its value that makes life reach immortality..."

RESERVATION WAR !

Its 10-10-10, i woke up early around 4 in the morning, and went to Koramangalam BDA for my ticket reservation, as i am leaving Banglore in three days. Actually
last day i was here at Sothern Wertern Railway's Reservation counter, but did not got my Tatkal ticket, I reached there around 6:30 in the morning. Yesterday
i was here 90 minutes before the opening of the ticket counter, but i didnot got the ticket. So, today i jumped up early and reached the venue at 5:15 in tme morning
approxly 2 hours and 45 minutes before the scheduled time of the poening of ticket counter.
But atlast i got my ticket confirmed, and gonna leave Banglore in two days on 12th.
As i reached the office, i expected some people already in the queue, but eventually, i was nearly on the 32nd position in the list. People were there
from 2 am in the night, and been sleeping there only for that long time, till its 8. Guys who were at the first position had there bedding with then, sleeping on newspaper
covered with thin plastic. Some had there bed sheet , and a few had pillow and shwals too. The scene was really unexpected. Till it was 6:30 i was not been able to see there
faces even, it was all covered with blanket and every thing. Following them was a bunch of young blood, somewhere from Bihar or UP,their different tone of speaking
distinguishes them easily. The had t shirts, burmudaa, shorts etc. Following them was half a dozen of single gentelmans, one after the another, some were sleeping,
some were trying to sleep, a few chatting with each other, a few were busy with there phone and songs, i joined the queue after a gentalman from Orrisa, he was boarding to
Kolkata to meet his daughter, he told me about his career in a private company for last 8 years, and his busy schedule. He was going to see his 6 year daughter after
18 long months, on the occassion of her birthday the following 26th of this month. He was posted to Banglore two years back, and he visited home anly once in this period.
I thought i was standing at the last position in the queue, but after just fifteen minutes, i was followed by three more gentalmans, i think they were from East India,
then the queue grew very quickly, and till 6:40 am ,i was follwed by approxly 60 more gentalmen/ ladies. To my back at 13th and 14th position were the real india,
one hindu prist, wearing long white single piece dhoti, with long tika on forehead, and beeds in hand, and rhyming "hare raama hare krishna", and the next person to the prist was
a well structured, neat, slim muslim. He was not a prist, but looked a very well manared person. I thought, just few days back, wordicts about Ayodhaya came out, and this
two different people are heading towards the same destination, that shows how much we human love everthing around us, the gift of life is equally given to everyone, and India
is a nation of unity, this two gentelman showed it!
If that was not enough, at 7 in morning, that muslim guy took a halt and had his namaz like a true muslim, and the hindu prist was still busy with his beeds and praying.
Comming back to the queue, it was very dull and silent, until three beautiful girls came to join us in the queue, wearing there nighty, and loose tops, even though they
were accompnied by two more boys, but the queue was very anxiously waiting to get any possible glimps of those beauties. Suddenly from nowhere this dead queue was
full of energy and fire in it. The door of the office opened at 7:30 and we all sitted inside the big hall for the fight of getting a ticket. At last i got me entry
at 8:08 and got my ticket. You know one thing is very clear, all shades of life are free to watch, and surroounds us, but we often do not take it in account.
This experience of getting an ticket was very intresting,i wish you too to see what is around you.... Go get your reservation !!!

The Breakfast

29/03/2010
Morning 8 am

It’s a very hot morning; nowadays the temperature is already 38 degrees in this early phase of summer. I went to take a small snap of morning walk today (which is probably out of my normal life). I end up at a near restaurant. The area was filled with school kids, smell of tea, different edible things and the smoke and carbon monoxide mixed with CO2, and all kinds of those poisonous elements.
On the last table there was a bunch of 60 year old gentlemen sitting with news paper, two cups of tea, one glass of fresh lime juice and one glass of milk. There was a fifth chair which was booked and adjusted in a space of four. I took my plate of Sambar wada and sat behind there place, keeping me face towards there table.
One old lad was wearing a turban and a silk kurta, next to him was a person with big mustache and a grey track suit, next to him was an uncle having a simple t-shirt and a pant with thick glasses on eyes. I can’t figure out the fourth gentleman. Apart from the man with white turban, no one else able to keep there hair on there head. It shined very gently.
The scene was so routines that every one was aware of what is next to come. With every sip of tea, a news was read, how Harbhajan Singh played last night in IPL match, what’s the magic of Shane Warne in the Cricket field, why India is still poor in education, why the newspaper companies give so much pages in Sunday times, why are natural treasures are not valued so much etc etc etc…
Probably all those talking stuffs were not very different from the news in paper, still when they were chatting, it was more of a topic of discussion, not a matter of lines. Then came the owner of the fifth seat; the man in black t-shirt said- “you are always late, are still so lazy at the age of sixty.”
Everyone in that old table laughed on the comment, and ordered one plate of dhokla with green chatni. The order came in next five minutes. It looked like that; the old bones still have that energy level. They sat there for next 15 minutes and took a walk towards there next destination, may be preparation for the next day morningwalk. I don’t know who were they, they were just five old men sitting on the next table to mine, they might me friends to each other for few months or may be decades, but the time they had every morning is the thing that never let them sleep for ever.
This last phase of there life may be the best they can get, with those friends, with whome they share an hour every morning, chatting, eating, laughing, and waiting for the last one to come…
“No one is immortal…but spending time with friends makes this life full of lovely things for which we can get out of our bed every day…”
I wish everyone to have that flavor of early morning tea with there friends…and coffee or milk or juice or lemonade or water or anything for those who don’t like tea!

We can never justify failure

It is a very obvious question that how many times we really blame our self for our mistakes. If our relation is in vain, we blame our partner, if we choose wrong career, we blame our guardians, if we are not healthy, we blame food, if we are not paid good, we blame our boss, but in all this stuffs where we stand???
Do we really consider our self before us complaint against others? Most probable answer must be NO ! Still today, I find my friends take their time out not to sought out there problems, but to discuss there reasons, and more often , this discussion is concentrated on other people. We can blame, we can regret, we can curse, but can’t justify why we failed. There may be millions and millions excuses for our unsatisfying job, but don’t they really add up to more of that failure. Once a mistake is committed, once we denied the opportunity, once we failed, then it becomes a fact, no matter what excuse we give the loss/failure is done, nothing but the effect will last for ever.
We may try to make other feel that it was not a worthy reason for that loose, but no one has the time to work on it. The only thing that matters is the outcome; the world is becoming more of a statistical one. If our job produces perfect result, our failure is not the part of our legacy. But if we fail, it turns big... It is a perfect way, the universe treats itself. And why not, it’s also correct, if I need to win, I have to do the best, no chance for taking and foot back…
Failures are not meant to feel guilty or sadness…rather meant to adapt and do the unthinkable…do justify your legacy of achievements and leave the bitter past behind otherwise…someday somewhere someone will give a better justification of our failure. And that day we will feel pity for ourselves…and that’s not a good thing to experience… AND I CAN BET ON THAT!

the mind ...

The logic of understanding anything is not just mugging things. A very deep study is needed to understand the entire scenario. What exactly is the reason that only few of us are blessed with good reasoning capability or mathematical skills or toppers…
Biologically, its on neurons, the small minuscule of cells that actually, define all the actions that we do, intentionally or unintentionally. The way we feel the touch of hand, smell of barbecue, pain of pinch and all that silly examples that I can think of. Its all about the chemical infrastructure inside our head. That’s very commendable!
But that was inside the head… then where exactly the mind lies…head is a physical thing, in which all these biological and chemical reactions take place, but that is exactly not the place where mind reside. Or I must say, that’s not the mind.
Mind is something more gigantic, unexplored, and not understood. Its something like magnetism, we know it’s existing, we use it, we study it, but no one exactly knows, what it is! Like wise, mind is also such a topic.
On of my classmate gave me this idea of ‘mind’- every action, our body does as the result of reaction in our brain, is either conscious or unconscious. That leads us top two kind of mind. One that counts the facts and assumptions to reach to a result- our conscious mind. And another, which reacts, even when we are sleeping- our unconscious mind.
Exactly! If someone hits me with a ball, it’s my subconscious mind that makes me dug. But at the same time, if I need to solve a question of algebra, I need to use my conscious mind to act. The entire scenario is very muddled. Both the mind is very active, yet not completely able to act. It’s the prime need of a human body to refine the things using both the mind to come up with any kind of conclusion.
For instance; why we see dreams? Its our subconscious mind that works, even when our body takes rest. I never think what to see in my dreams, it just happens. Same is with the case of many minds.
For sure; sometimes or actually often, we dream what we do and think the entire day, but do we always have the same dream, or do we do the same thing every day…probably no ! The idea is very different, this subconscious mind is designed to think when we are not thinking, the whole scenario is very difficult to understand.
All the neurons has some magical and undoubtedly the most complicated structure of anything made by the creator. But yes, every mind works not even in 3 percentage of what it can, but still we have this world…only a man will full potential mind can tell the answer- what exactly is mind !!!
We use it from the day we take birth till we die, even sometimes after that, but we don’t know how it works. Not even science can answer the exact phenomenon on which it works, so use it, enjoy it, don’t try to understand it, how it works…

The local bus!!

The local bus!!

It was the occasion of MahaShivratri Celebration in Bhojpur. Today we were not able too arrange the bikes for the trip, so we thought to take the city bus, we were 7 in total. Eventually the fair of bus was raised from seven rupees to 20 rupees, with an additional feature to drop you one kilometer away from the main temple.
Still, we agreed to go for it, and landed on the near bus stand, waited for 15 minutes and caught a local bus to bhojpur. Had the trip completed in three hours and returned back.
The local bus was having a capacity of 62 passenger( I know this because, I got the last seat in the bus…). But the festival made a magic in the bus, the total number of passenger in the bus were minimum 95 or even can be more. The scene was very clear from the last seat… in a last row of five, we seven adjusted ourselves. In the front of mine seat, was a lady with her husband and two girls, sitting in a seat of two( thank god, the had a small baby…). And the rest of the seats are hardly visible due to the rush in the bus.
Moving rightwards, may be two or three were sharing the seats, I cant see them, because couples of big sized butts were in the way. The space in between the two side rows of seat was no more a space, it turned into a queue of more then twenty five of passenger in line. Boys, girls, ladies, gents, kids, oldies etc , everyone was pressing each other. Touching ankles, arms, thighs, chest and god knows what. It was a complete fuddled situation.
Needless to tell that, the weight of bus was over the limit, but it rarely bothered the driver. Obviously, the passenger were paying double the charges, complaining least, gathered in large numbers- what more a bus owner want on festival day. The feast of money on a holy day…but is that humane?
For instance, if the bus had imbalanced, it could have cased havoc, a death of at least hundreds of us. Thank god it didn’t happen, but even in hell, if that bad dream become truth for even any one of us, then?
In India, I think in every year we hear half a dozen of news of road accidents of pilgrims. For sure it does not stop the sacred people to go, or the pilgrims to stop climbing thousands of feet’s to get a glimpses of the rock, we worship as our God. But this kind of local bus, can make us very very close to the lord, I mean very close…
Every big city has there local way of public transport, Delhi, Mumbai, Indore, Bhopal, Kolkata etc – city bus serves the most of them…it’s the local public as well as the bus owner and also the government, that someday a small mistake can take away many life in a flash…it’s a very unsure world, risk is in every part, but why to make things bitter…local bus is not a place to kill people, and nor should we make it one.
Reaching a destination half hour late is very profitable the never reaching there. Misfortune can turn in our path any time, thing before rushing you and overloading the local bus…you never know- when u can get crushed!

Xperiance with Hexaware

Hello !

My fourth attempt for a campus!
It was 4/02/2010 an close campus in our college, the company was- HEXAWARE technology, a Mumbai based Indian company, which stands at fifth rank in IT industry in India, at that point of time.
The campus had three rounds ( which later on changed in four ), an aptitude plus technical written round, GD and HR. we reported there by 9 am in the morning. Since it rained last night, so the temperature perished at least 10 degrees. And it was too cold at morning time. For a good reason, it was always known to everyone that, the Hexaware representatives will never reach in time, but still we reached the college at time, sharp at 9am.
As it was assumed, the HR came at 11 am. Then the introductory seminar was there, given by Mr. Joseph, the HR. It included all kinds of vociferous kind of description about the company and the recruitment policy.

After all that thing, then the written started, 50 question in one hour, the paper was very fine, and I was confident of clearing it, and it did happened. I cleared the written.
In GD round, we were 10 people, and the topic was- “is science a boon or curse”. Every one sitting there started to repeat the same thing again and again, and all were rubbish, there was no sense in the GD round, I was not given a scope to keep my point, I kept myself silent, only because, I don’t wanted to be a part of this unsocial way of keeping my point in the court. Like me, Harsh also kept himself silent, but it was unnoticed by the HR, and we were thrown out of the recruitment procedure. Out of 67, who cleared the written, only 24 were selected from GD round.
My attempt for Hexaware stopped there on. Gaurav, Thakur and Himanshu got selected from my class and on overall, 18 were selected from our college.

I learned one thing, even if people around you are behaving like, animal, you need to take the charge to kick there ass, otherwise, you will be kicked out.
